Always!</em><br /><em></em><br />Forget all it. I dont care if anyone reads my blog or not. I need to vent.<br /><br />Man, Dark Side of the Moon (DSOTM) is pretty much the greatest album ever made. I really have yet to encounter something like it (besides more floyd) I mean look, or should I say listen, to it.<br /><br />I should say, something <em>can </em>be beautiful, artistic and a commercial success. Heck, this baby has been constantly on the charts for pretty much as long as it's been out. When it came out in 1973 it was sooo far ahead of it's time.<br /><br />There are parts of this album where I'm just outstanded. From the begining:<br />1. Speak to me<br />A Slow steady heartbeat. The sound rises and rises, sounds accumulate each bit a small tase of what is to come, it rises and rises and...<br />2. Breathe<br />Fantastic song. Excellent. The sliding guitar sound seems to tap some brain frequency where it just sounds so <em>good</em>.<br />3. On the Run<br />Amazing, amazing song. Just get a good pair of headphones, close your eyes and try <em>not</em> to get goosebumps.<br />4. Time<br />Killer song. Fantastic guitar solos. Uplifting choir vocals and a beautifull reprise of Breathe.<br />5. The Great Gig in the Sky<br />When I head first this song it almost got me to tears. Not kidding!<br />6. Money<br />Similar to Time. Different but just as good.<br /><br />I'm getting tired of typing so let me just say the rest of the album is genius, genius, genius.
